Pet Moxibustion is a form of alternative medicine that involves burning an herb called mugwort or Artemisia vulgaris near the surface of the skin of a pet. The heat generated from the burning herb is said to stimulate specific acupuncture points and meridians in the body, which can help to promote healing and balance.

Moxibustion is an ancient Chinese therapy using the herb Mugwort heated up to over 200 degrees and touched to the acupuncture needles. This therapy warms the channels and invigorates the Qi, and moves Stagnant Blood and Qi. It is especially useful in the winter months for arthritis and any time of year for Intervertebral disc disease.
