Pet Food Therapy

Good nutrition and a healthy weight are important factors in your pet’s overall health.

Pet Nutritional Counseling

Good nutrition is essential for maintaining a healthy life. It is critical for pet owners to understand that their pet’s nutritional requirements frequently differ from their own. Dogs’ nutritional requirements differ from those of cats. Different lifestyles and life stages necessitate different nutritional requirements.

Pet Healing with Whole Foods / Nutritional Counseling / Raw Diet / Food Allergy Testing

Nutrition is key to maintaining vital force and keeping the body strong. Providing the individual pet what their body needs, in turn, creates balance. Dogs and cats are carnivores, and they cannot digest grains well, and especially cats are predisposed to diabetes by feeding grains. Feeding a raw diet has helped many animals get over IBD, allergies in general, ear infections, autoimmune diseases, epilepsy, bladder stones, arthritis, obesity, Cushing’s disease, thyroid disease, liver and kidney disease, pancreatitis, and cancer. If a raw diet is not for you, you must at least consider home-cooked food, freeze-dried raw food, air-dried food, canned food, dehydrated food, or only low-heat baked dry food. Here at Holistic Veterinary Healing, we also perform food allergy testing.
